2011 Program of the Year

Siemens AG Wins SAMA's Program of the Year Award

Each year, SAMA evaluates customer-supplier relationship programs to be recognized for their leadership, accomplishments, and commitment to excellence in the practice of strategic account management through a process of nomination and rigorous case study.

This year, Siemens AG was presented with the Program of the Year Award at our 2011 Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.

From Siemens' press  release:

"Siemens CEO Peter Loescher accepted the award for the best key account management program, in Orlando, Florida. 'Proximity to our customers is decisive for our business success. I myself spend more than half my time with customers,' said Löscher. Regarding the award, SAMA President and CEO Bernhard Quancard explained, 'Siemens impressed us with its ongoing cultivation of customer relationships, its fostering of promising and talented sales employees and its practical implementation of customer proximity at the Managing Board level.'"
