Formally register in the program and complete the enrollment questionnaire to identify a live account focus during certification as well as account and skill development goals.
The manager receives the SAM’s enrollment responses, including current account status, goals and objectives.
You, your manager and up to four additional evaluators complete the competency pre-assessment online to evaluate your current job performance. Use the results to identify performance gaps and confirm your development plan throughout the certification program.
The manager(s) complete the Competency Pre-Assessment online and review the results with the SAM. Both the SAM and the manager should come to an agreement on the SAM’s professional development plan and revisit the certification goals. The manager is expected to coach the SAM on strengths and weaknesses throughout the program.
Complete the required CSAM curriculum: 8 in-person courses (for a total of 11 days in class) through SAMA University (U.S.) / SAMA Academy (International) plus an e-learning module and online test after each in-person course. To test out of each course, you must earn 80% correct or higher.
The manager views video overviews of each course for basic understanding and coaching recommendations.
You and your manager complete the SAM Competency Post-Assessment online. The report helps us measure your progress throught the CSAM program.
After completing the Post-Assessment, the SAM and manager must meet to discuss the results. Following the joint meeting, each completes a formal review questionnaire online.
SAMA reviews your complete transcript for satisfactory completion of all certification requirements, and SAMA’s CSAM designation is awarded.
