Jane Helsing is vice president of strategic accounts in the Business Solutions Group (BSG) practice area of Personnel Decisions International. She specializes in working with account management organizations of Fortune 500 corporations, helping them focus on understanding the needs of key account contacts and using that information to improve relationships and drive strategy. She is a co-author of the book IMPACT Without Authority, published by SAMA in 2003. Ms. Helsing has consulted in numerous industries and has delivered training, including IMPACT Without Authority, throughout the U.S., in Europe and in South Africa. She also helped establish business development and delivery processes for PDI's non-U.S. licensees. She has spoken at conferences in the U.S., the U.K. and Canada, and she is a frequent contributor to Velocity™, SAMA’s quarterly journal. Prior to joining PDI, Ms. Helsing spent 16 years in the telecommunications industry consulting with senior managers regarding the implications of marketplace and competitive trends.
