Tom is the Vice President of Global Account Operations with Xerox Global Services Group.
In this role, Tom combines his skills and knowledge from 20 years of Major Account Marketing managerial assignments and his international experience in global contracting and Services Marketing supporting Xerox top 150 accounts. He has worked with customers in four continents assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of Xerox global offerings and the customers satisfaction with Xerox implementation. Tom serves as Xerox Corporations primary interface for major account operations with Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia and Developing Markets. He has direct reports in Japan and Singapore to accomplish strategic and tactical implementation of Xerox offerings.
Tom has conducted extensive account reviews on an annual basis since 1990 and has an in depth understanding of best practices and operational barriers within global account management. Toms group at Xerox developed global contracting instruments; Internet based MIS, communication tools, a customer satisfaction survey, an account planning processes and a professional development continuum. Tom has designed, organized and hosted Major and Global Account learning events successfully for over 12 years. Attendees for these events participated in workshops involving, professional development, skills development, cultural awareness and strategic direction planning and implementation for both the private and public sector segments.
Tom has chaired several industry association committees and founded several coalitions designed to affect Public Policy. He has been a featured speaker at industry forums on the subject of competitiveness and strategic imperatives that to promote value based solutions. He is a member of the Strategic Account Management Association and the Global Forum, a consortium of eight corporations that meet quarterly to benchmark global account management practices.
Tom and Peggy Ryan reside in Potomac Maryland, and have four children.
