Connecting individuals across an enterprise for purposes of collaboration requires not only a technology strategy but a change management strategy, as well. Using next-generation Internet-based communications tools, Alstom University designed and implemented a programme for generating collaborative intelligence company-wide. The barriers to such an implementation are very high, but the benefits of enhanced connectivity can increase corporate performance and strengthen strategic/key account leadership and teams.
